The 17th International Conference on Computers in Education, ICCE 2009, will be held between November 30 (Mon) and December 4 (Fri), 2009 at the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd), Hong Kong. ICCE 2009 will be a meta-conference for researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to connect with international research communities for the worldwide dissemination and sharing of ideas for research in the field of Computers in Education. The six theme-based sub-conferences in the five-day conference will foster the building of research communities in the field of Computers in Education. Researchers and graduate students are welcomed to participate in the Conference to exchange research findings in the frontier areas of Computers in Education. HKIEd is a vibrant institute which practices the use of digital technology to improve quality of education. We look forward to your participation in this important event in Hong Kong.

Full papers accepted by ICCE2009 may be invited for publication in the Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning (RPTEL) journal, the official Journal of Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE). On top of this, there are now at least two international refereed journals in the themes of the six ICCE 2009 sub-conferences considering invitation for publishing special issues of their journals.
